Photographer’s Note
This is the church St. Antonio Abate (Anthony the Great) in the village Auressio, Onsernone valley in the Swiss canton Ticino. Auressio, the first village in this valley, is situated in an altitude of 616 metres. It first was mentioned in a deed of 1233. Its church was consecrated in 1526 but Auressio became an own parish not before 1792. Auressio then has had 270 inhabitants - today only about 80.
In workshop you can see the unassuming interior of this church.
On the slope in the background you can see the next village in Onsernone valley, Loco (700 metres), two kilometres (street) from here.
Well - this power line. It was there and I didn't have another point of view on this steep slope.

Hello Frank,
A lovely capture of this charming little church under a wonderful blue sky. The tones and textures are rendered to very good effect. Just a slight pity for the overhead power lines.

Interesting presentation. But I would prefer to clone out something in right upper corner.
Regards my dear friend.

Hallo Frank,
A good POV, which is giving a nice perspective. A great place for the church. I like the several "V"'s of the mountain ridges and how the roofs of the church also follow the same diagonal as the closest ridge on the right. Good summery colours and excellent clarity, which allows one to admire the details and textures of the church.
Greetings from sunny Espoo,

Frank,
Your composition and POV are outstanding here. The placement of the church is fine allowing us to see the wonderful landscape on the other side. The lighting and colors are fine with excellent sharpness and detail. The power lines are a little distraction but they were there.
TFS,
Asa
