Photographer’s Note

This is the church St. Antonio Abate (Anthony the Great) in the village Auressio, Onsernone valley in the Swiss canton Ticino. Auressio, the first village in this valley, is situated in an altitude of 616 metres. It first was mentioned in a deed of 1233. Its church was consecrated in 1526 but Auressio became an own parish not before 1792. Auressio then has had 270 inhabitants - today only about 80.
In workshop you can see the unassuming interior of this church.

On the slope in the background you can see the next village in Onsernone valley, Loco (700 metres), two kilometres (street) from here.

Well - this power line. It was there and I didn't have another point of view on this steep slope.
