[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Now that I introduced you the Easy and Holy cow, here the end-result of their summer-long joy and medidation on the alp: original, hand-crafted, mightly aromatic swiss mountain cheese. These cheese wheels are shelved in the cellar of the cottage for about 2 1/2 years before being sold to locals and tourists.

Hello Adrian!
Very inviting! Now I am very hungry. Very good composition, great sharpness and good colours.

mouth watering sight :) ... makes me real hungry, so i suppose it works :)! love the choice of DOF, the perspective, the natural almost earthly tones and use of light here - well done!
thanks,
dora

Excellent food picture. focus is perfect in this one.
I love cheese so much, this photo makes me hungry:)

Great work!

I like your cheese shot Adrian - the super short depth of field generated by your fixed lens - fixed lens - that's something we don't hear too often these days by itself - works a treat.
They look just like little stones - grind stones perhaps - and blends well with the shelves in a limited colour pallette.
In the UK, "cheese" is synonomous with photography, and no-one would be able to resist posting a photograph like this without calling it "say cheese" - which, over here, means :) - and is what portrait photographers traditionally say to their subjects: You probably knew that anyway! :)
Regards
Colin

Aline

awesome clarity. Excellent framing. Brillant color pattern. May I ask if you do any Post processing?
thanks
michael

Hi Adrian,
Original, well framed shot on low light. The cheese has great texture. I like the version with hands too, but the DOF works better here. To the favourites.
