Yet another picture from my visit to Mother Monika, principal of the franciscan cloister in Muotathal. This time a straight portrait of her, still lecturing about the eventful history of the cloister. Read more in the notes of my previous posts. One more to come before I move on to new subjects.

Whilst this lacks the symbolic overtones easily read into the previous shot, it's still a cracking portrait, and one which shows something of the lady's character, I think, whilst also being a good and artful photograph.
