Photographer’s Note
Well, this is a color photo.
The only PP done, was turn it into B&W... for several reasons...
the photo is not burned or something like that, it´s just a grey day today in Buenos Aires, so my mood is grey as well!!!
I don´t have yet a rainy photo of Bs As, so I decided to change the mood of this photo... and I think it works!
So, these are the famous Rheinfall, the biggest waterfall in Europe.
Well, after going to Cataratas de Iguazú and been near the Garganta del Diablo or Devils Throat in Argentina, I have to admit that Rheinfall is not so big... but at least, you can get closer to the big fall, so you have the impression that you are under the water... sehr schön! And swiss people are very proud of them, so if you are in nearby, don´t miss it!
------------------------------------------------------
The Rhine Falls, the largest Falls in Europe, offer a spectacular showpiece to visitors. With an average flow of 25’000 cubic ft / sec (700 m3 / sec) the water cascades down the cataracts, which are 450 ft ( 150 m) wide and 75 ft (23 m) high. Taking a boat trip into the basin below the cataracts you can feel the great power of the rushing water

Hi Paula,
interesting reason to turn the photo into b&w.
I like yours. A very fine POV, good DOF and light conditions. You managed to get an important part of the falls on your photo in a wonderful way. But I would be interested to see the colored version also. Maybe a later WS?

Me recuerda las pelis europeas de los 50. La perspectiva ancha y el contraste bajo. Bonita.

I hope you understand all this Portuguese. If not, please tell me.

Saludos
José

Hi Paula
You're right, the pic works well in B&W.
One can also imagine that the man is worrying about something. Your pic makes me think about the famous song "Bridge over troubled water"... ;-)

Hi, Paula!
Great compo! Looks like this man stand there and think about his life, about his love, about his future... very romantic and impressive. Nicely done in B&W.
Best regards
Peter
