Las Cataratas del Rhin son las mayores de Europa, no por su altura (23 metros) sino por su anchura (150 metros) y su caudal, que oscila entre los 120 metros cúbicos / segundo en invierno y los 1.200 en verano. La primera vez que las vi pensé: "¿de dónde sale tanta agua?" hasta que vi el lago Constanza y se me aclararon las dudas. Las habré visto un centenar de veces y en todas las épocas del año, pero nunca he sabido desde dónde tomar una buena foto del conjunto. Esta foto hecha con los últimos rallos de la tarde está dedicada a Jean Yves Roure, más conocido como PixelTerror, quien me dio la idea en una de sus fotos.

Rheinfall is the bigger waterfall in Europe, no for its altitude (23m) but for his width (150m) and its flow, between 120m3/s in winter and 1,200m3/s in summer. The first time I saw it I thought “where come so much water from?” until I saw lake Constanz and the doubts gone out. I’ve seen it more than one hundred times and in all the seasons, but never I knew where was the best place to take one good photo. This picture taken with the sunset’s last rays is dedicated to Jean Yves Roure, known as PixelTerror, who gave me the idea with one of his photos.
