Photographer’s Note
View down to village of Unterwasser from the slopes of Churfirsten mountain chain. The weather didn't look promising that day and in fact the cable car connection to top of Chäserrugg (2262 m) was closed due to the strong wind.
But funicular to intermediate station of Iltios was open. Hike down from there offered some beautiful sights every now and then when there was opening between cloud masses.
Pushed contrast and saturation. Interpretation of camera was originally rather lame compared to what my eyes saw.

Kari,
Very nice view of the valley, in comparison to the mountain, the houses looks like miniature model house, like those use for village around model train. Very nice and charming. Very good sharness and clarity, Very nice and natural colors with good composition. I just return from Switzerland, it is such a beautiful and scenic country. Thanks

Hello,
The lightning is very good with this village lighted punctally in the middle of the mountains. You were lucky to get such scene regarding the fog in the background.
Sometimes it is worth to try.
Yves.

Hi Kari. It seems a village blessed with a beautiful setting and I am sure sunny days.great view, and despite the apparent haphazard scattering of farmlets and cottages, it all looks very tidy. Lovely moment as the sun lights up the valley. Regards. Klaudio.

Hello Kari,
Your picture looks almost as some sort of display for miniature trains :) Nice vivid colors and good sharpness. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Kari, this one looks like something out of a story book, more painting than photo, great shot. The air must have been incredibly clear and the light is perfect. I love how the buildings dot the green but the roads are not so visible. Very well seen and captured.

Kari,
that is the best blend of composition and light that anyone that wants to do some nice landscape photography could ask for. This is an image to sit there and look in awe. Wonderful, nothing else to say!

Excellent PoV and light for this view, Kari, it is great how the houses are scattered in the sunlit valley, pity that the left mountain top is cut off, but sometimes this is unavoidable...
Cheers

Hello Kari ... As I sit here at the airport, waiting that the rain stops for us to go flying (this is in Colorado/Grand Junction) I play around with the internet and as things go I see my village where we own a cottage and that you were there and did not knock on our doors ... shame on you, I would have had special Barbara views for you ready to go but also cake and coffee, bbq and wine, beer and snacks ... But I must admit it is not bad at all the view you have for us. My garden view shows directly to the Churfirsten and the little train that goes up to the middle station to Chaeserrugg but also the whole Churfirsten view. I might be a little homesick when I see this but not really, once it clears up at Grand Junction the sky is all ours :)))) Barbara.

The light is fantastic, very inspiring vision.
If I remember well, it is there that I learned first to sky but this is such a long time ago in childhood, I am not totally sure - it resembles though ! Clouds can make such an impact...
Bravo and have a good weekend,
Cath.
