[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Each month has its special light and you can tell from which season it comes. For me this is so much late fall when the sun goes down early. Around 5 p.m. it is almost completely dark. We made a pre-sunset walking "tour" before the sun went down on this too warm December day. Normally the mountains would be snowed in, considering that we are standing at approx. 1200 m amsl. I always like seeing this shed and the beauty of where it stands. A cosy corner.

Another view of this whole scene is found in my "workshop".

I agree...the late afternoon light of december has a certain "look" to it....and it is the same here in Canada. Thanks for sharing a photo of Switzerland...one of my favourite places.

Hallo Barbabra!
Frank

The light is wonderful here Barbara. It's so warm. I like how the orange color of the wood on the side of the barn matches the little strip of light on the top of the mountain in the background. The low side lighting creates wonderful shadows on the shed, creating some nice contrast. The blue roof compliments the orange wood beautifully. Nice shot.

Ryan

Hi Barbara,
Superb tones in this pic.
I really too the different planes in the shot, all very pleasant.
Good job,
JB.

HI Barbara, great shot. I love the components in the picture...such as house, trees, mountain...and the blue sky. Wonderful shot. Sothy

Hi Barbara,
Beautiful use of this afternoon light that all to soon will surrender to the night. Very nice soft colors and little bit of shadows working on the shed's face.
Regards, Tom

I love the warmth of golden sunlight in the foreground and wonderful blue sky in the background.

I like the geometry of this composition. The pitch of the hill should make the shed feel like it is about to topple down the hill, but the trees on either side make the shed feel secure (even cosy).

The light across the front of the shed is almost too perfect (it nearly looks like a studio shot). It is not until my eye is drawn to the same light feathering the top of the mountains in the background that I can fully appretiate "special light" you have captured.
