Photographer’s Note
On my home yesterday I was looking down to my feet and I nearly had a heart attack seeing that I was wearing different shoes on my two feet, black ballerinas but different brands :))) Nobody at work realized my little mistake or maybe they were simply too polite to remind me. My train friend was shaking her head probably glad for her quiet little life and I was thinking too that it was time to change my shoes and wear some hiking boots instead, time for a long extensive vacation which is not far from now in less than two weeks. So this picture reminded my how beautiful it is to be outside, taken last summer between sunshine and intense fog, coming and going, from deep blue to moments of being a little scared walking in the soup hoping that there was no cliff to fall down. I remember that my hair was wet from the moisture. I liked the two hikers on the hill showing the outdoors in a special way.
Same afternoon, maybe 20 minutes later We go wandern Vol. I

Howdy!
Minimal and absolutely dreamy, it reminds me of the mood, the velvet greens, and the fog suddenly coming down at Independence Pass, Colorado... Love it! You are VERY gifted, and looking at your pictures makes me aware I'm not the only one to look at life in these unconventional terms. Keep it up, that's why we love you!
Have a wonderful evening, I'll be seeing ya. HUGS from The Lowlands,
Fulvio.

Hoi Barbara,

Jonas

Hallo Barbara,
It still stands, so i take my chance to place a comment ;-))))
You know....you are right, comparing to the previous one this is much and much better. It's minimalistic, but with the light over the hill, the dark grey sky and our eyes fixed to those people in the far background you really have a great shot here.
You once told me "don't be too hard on your self with deleting pictures", maybe this also stands for you....don't be too hard on your self ;-)
Take care,
Henk

What else can we say? It is peaceful and beautiful. Two people by themselves on a empty space, I would like to do that. Well done.

Gruesse Barbara,
I miss your signiture blue sky of Switzerland. Oh, how I know when you get up the mountain weather change faster than your can change your shoe, from blue to grey. love the tiny little people, it just to show how insignificant we are in the big scheme of things. So I will take in all I can and enjoy what mother nature has given us to it fullest, so when I'm older and can't get out of the wheel chair, I have not regrets, so I won't be an angry old man, like my father :) Happy spring time and enjoy the outdoor.

Oh Barbara
I love the simplicity of this shot. Essentially two colours, one curving line and two people. Marvellous. This going to my favourites. At least when you wear two different shoes you know there is another pair at home just like them :)))
Cheers

Hallo Barbara,

Hi Barbara,
Great with the two tiny figures all the way on the top of the green hill, it's like a dessert dune but green :o) The overcast weather adds to the mood and the two figures even though they are so small are an imediate magnet for the eye as a focal point.

Hallo Barbara.

Hey Barbara!
Peaceful, simple, beautiful! Like Korkut said, this is like a desert--but a greeen desert without the sand that is. I like the minimalism added by the two people looking so tiny!
a long extensive vacation which is not far from now in less than two weeks I envy so much ;) I can't even think about it before October. Meanwhile, just weekend getaways will do.
Regards!

Hello Barbara,
so simple and so impressive at the same time.
I like this beautiful composition, with the image divided into two parts, and the small human presence.
Soft tones and suggestive atmosphere, with the usual interesting notes. Have a great week end.
Warm regards

Hi Barbara,
Another fine testiment that less is more as we see our two intrepid hikers making their way to the top of this foggy treeless landscape.
Love the love shadows on the lush green hillside.
The lone hikers add very effective scale to this fine image.

Hello Barbara
Hope you're doing fine! In the thumbnail I could barely see the two ant-esque people!! The dreary sky, the shaded part of the green slope & still we see some effect of more shadowed parts? I have similar pictures in the mist & fog...maybe I'll try & post them as well! Your notes, Barbara are a real pleasure to read!!
Best Regards
Angshuman
