Rapperswil is a lovely town with an old part well-worth visiting. It is directly at the Lake of Zurich and attracts - especially in summer - tons of people to hang around in one of the many street cafes and restaurants.
Many ships have a regular service to all kinds of villages along the lake but also as far as Zurich which takes you some time, I guess around two hours with a ship like the "Ufenau".
This was a warm day in May, the weather was not sure which way to go which gave some interesting clouds. |

Hi Barbara,
It's been a long time since i was in Rapperswil, but i remember it as a very nice town.
Your picture is a bit dark, it could use some more light, so i put some sunshine in it, hope you like the WS.
