Papagolfade by the Lake Photo

Photographer’s Note

Today's Papagolfade comes from Central Switzerland and shows the Beckenried church St. Heinrich sitting on the edge of Lake Lucerne (known as Vierwaldstättersee). I did not extend the view more to the left due to construction works.

Breathe and enjoy the view !

Idyllic, Jean-Yves
Can almost smell that fresh Swiss air. The church is beautiful and typical of those I remember from my visit to Switzerland - I recall they look very similar around Interlaken. The way the colours fade into the distance gives a great sense of depth and tranquility. A perfect Sunday scene.

Si nous étions en Autriche, j’aurais crû qu’il s’agissait de la «Mélodie du bonheur»... Verdure, montagnes et clocher rendent cette scène champêtre absolument irrésistible!

Très joli panorama, même si tu as «guillotiné» le côté gauche :-D)...

Belle netteté et impeccable composition.

Fine well balanced view with a lot of interesting elements like the flowering tree and the village on the opposite bord of the lake. Fine colours and light and overall a very swiss picture.

This is the kind of view that made me fall in love with Switzerlanf. Superb. Those beautiful swiss blues and grees. The breathtaking view. The clear, clean air. I would LOVE to breathe this air and enjoy but alas, Im in Seoul, where the air is not so clean.

Bonjour Jean-Yves,
Fantastique paysage alpin. Bon cadrage, avec le petit village et son église à droite, le lac, et les montagnes avec le beau ciel. C'est un lieu parfait pour unes vacances tranquilles.
Les couleurs de printemps ont été parfaites, et aussi mo'aime l'éclairage obtenu dans l'exposition.
J'aime cette photo.

Toi aussi tu postes des Papagolfades aussi aujourd’hui. Mais bien sûr c’est dimanche.
Le village est très mignon et les couleurs des toits et champs ressortent superbien car la lumière est magnifique. Cependant je trouve le ciel et le fond très fades et n’apportent rien de plus à l’image. C’est pourquoi je te fais un petit WS.

Très beau paysage très bien cadré avec ce point fort qu'est l'église.Les couleurs douces sont très agréables. Très belle réalisation.

Il est certain qu'en postant une image d'un pays neutre on prend moins de risques! ;o)
Une belle vue plongeante sur ce village si typiquement Suisse. Je ne suis jamais passée dans ce coin, mais cela ressemble à tellement d'autres endroits que je connais! Quoiqu'en dise Nikki et malgré le côté brumeux je préfère la version avec les montagnes!

Ben t'as riason, je crois que je n'y suis jamais allé alors je peux voir à qui ça ressemble.
Bien composé avec la papagolfade bien placée.
Le fond manque de contraste, un sélection et c'est réglé !

Very good panoramic view with perspective and nice colours contrast. The town has fine details. The village in the bg give you a nice depth sense. Beautiful place.

Nice Sunday break with this fine postcard of the lakeside church, JY. You can't go wrong with this scenery and it is beautifully portrayed with the colorful village in the foreground, and the lake separating the view towards the mountain range.

A beautiful scenery -- very pleasant, colourful and joyful. Mist that partialy hides the mountains accentuates the village in foreground. Superb sharpness and colours.

A very pleasant view of this picturesque spot. I like the POV and sense of depth in the photo. The church acts as an anchor to balance the frame and all is seen with great clarity. A view many of us would love to have and indeed Papagolf inspired.

un permier plan nickel, un second un peu voilé, la balance s'équilibre malgres ca, mais je l'aurais bien vu en 3/2 au lieu du 4/3 non ? Bon c'est pas le cas et le paysage reste tres joli a contempler et l'Eglise se fait bien remarque ici.
