Photographer’s Note
Pers & Morteratsch Glacier as seen from Munt Pers. Piz Bernina, the only peak exceeding 4000m in Graubunden, is hidden in clouds behind the head of the Morteratsch Glacier. The peaks to the right are Piz Morteratsch and Piz Boval.
The effect of glacial recession can be observed here. Pers Glacier used to descend & merge with Morteratsch Glacier. Now they are detached or detaching fast. Crevasses are increasing in size and numbers as a result of ice thinning.

Hi Latiff
Good rendering despite the cloudy weather, the glacier itself is a powerful diagonal almost pointing to the Piz BErnina
Have a nice day JY

Hallo Latiff!
Again an impressive photo from this great landscape. A feast for the eyes. Munt Pers must be a most beautiful place - like a balcony. Piz Bernina even is the only peak exceeding 4000 m in the eastern Alps - that means east of Rhine river.
Greetings from Germany!

Magnificent prospect of mountains and glacier! Shows that the planet Earth lives still!
We are observers and at the same time residents with responsibility for the incidents! Glad to see that you were there.
I love terrains like this, what a pity to be in office now!
The exposure is very good, my friend!
Thank you very much for sharing. Keep posting beauties!
Warm regards,
Athanasios.
