Photographer’s Note

This is for my dear friends Korkut (bostankorkulugu) and Deniz (rigoletto).
Hope you like it, guys because it is so hard to live up to your standards and to pick the right photo to dedicate you two! I am very happy to have friends like you - fun, smart and talented.
I wish you both an "annus mirabilis", whatever that means to you. :)))))

The Annus Mirabilis Papers (from Latin, for 'extraordinary year') are the papers of Albert Einstein published in the "Annalen der Physik" scientific journal in 1905. These four articles contributed substantially to the foundation of modern physics and changed views on space, time, and matter. The Annus Mirabilis is often called the "Miracle Year" in English, in German, the "Wunderjahr".

A very strong and stylish composition. Diagonals always seem to work well and this is no exception. Nice and sharp - low noise and I really like the ghostly image you've created.

It reminds me of an image I have in my mind when listening to a track called 'Up the Downstair' by Porcupine Tree. Very trippy and surreal.

Another superlative image, IMO.

ay allaam uyumuşum kalmışım daha şimdi gördüm bunu:DDD...

yesinler senin tiltli merdiven komponu, bu basamaklar altın külçelerinden mi yapıldı... valeria mı yolladı seni bize... o sol üst köşeden kardeşinin sağ kalçasına uzanan şey samsa'nın kolu mu kanadı mı... bu karede bir değil iki kişi olduğunu bir tek ben mi anladım... sapık katil kardeşinin peşinde benden söylemesi...

fazla konuştum biliyorum ama sevinince dillenirim ben:P... çok beğendim çoook, gerçekten... takdir ve tebriklerimi sunuyor yarab cümlemizi annum terribilislerden uzak tutsun diliyorum... (bu cümleden sonra bayramını tebrik etmek ve hayırlı geceler de dilemek gerekir mecburen:P...)

ben de çok sevdim ben de çok sevdim...hayaleti sevdim;açıyı sevdim;gizemi sevdim;sarıyı;kahveyi sevdim..orda hatta kırmızı bile görüyorum ona bayıldim..notunu kıskandım:)))
senin gibi güzel fotograflar çekmek istiyorum bir gün:)

Mouse'u aşağı yukarı scroll ettikçe saykedelik etki yaratan, vomitlerden vomit beğendiren, sarısı hardal/bal/kehribar kırması, hayaleti Gregor Samsa'nın bile üzerine basmaktan çekinmeyecek kadar haşin adımlarla ilerleyen, durdurulamaz, önlenemez, adresi doğru bir ok gibi elmayı yarıp geçen bir yaratı. Kafamı soldaki duvara vurup da mı kanatsam, dudağımı basamaklara çarpıp da mı yarsam bilemedim. Gecenin uzun süredir beklense de beklenmedik anda gelen baş döndürücü sürprizi...
Bize de önünde saygı ve müteşekkiriyetle eğilip, mirabilis mi mirabilis bir annum dilemekten öte yapacak bir şey kalmamış...

An experimental shot for a nice dedication...I always like experiments in photigraphy if it has the result of your attment!Not only the blur figure,the diagonal pov also works very well.
Well captured and effective!

Bu da muhteşem ! İlk açtığımda keşfettim ve ben de aynen Deniz'in yaptığı gibi (Deniz'in notunu sonradan okudum) mouse'u aşağı yukarı oynatarak bir süre eğlendim !
Gene mükemmel grafik etkisi olan ve de üzerinde düşündüren, yorumlar yaptırtan bir kare. Keyifli bir kitap'ı bıkmadan okur gibi, sürükleyen ve düşündüren bir kare.
Korkut'la, Deniz'e de böylesi yakışırdı !
Gözüne, gönlüne koskocaman bir "sağlık" !

For sure Deniz and Korkut would be fine in such a universe, graphical, a bit mysterious to which the ghost silhouette also contributes to, well seen and a bit different from what I'd expect from the Chur area, mountains, snow, you know...

They must be touched with this dedicatory. It's an intriguing and beautiful abstract image. The compo done with the light, shadows, colours, geometry, etc. is very produces a mysterious mood, that, yes, is much reminiscent of Korkut's and even more of Deniz's photos.
I hope 2008 will also be a "annus mirabilis" to you too.

Great shot: Stylish, dynamic and mysterious composition. Definitely one of your best postings so far. The influence of Deniz and Korkut is obvious. I think though your shot tends more to Deniz style than to Korkut´s. Keep on copying those photographers you like: It’s one of the best ways to learn and improve. I do the same.

A great one too, you handle very well long shutter speed in graphical situations, i think what makes this shot is colors, like gold one, i don't know how to define them but they are really unbelievable

Kadrajın eğikliği, etkiyi daha da arttırmış,kahverenginden sarıya değişen renk tonları ve hayaletin(!) baş çevresindeki aura çok güzel.Böylesi sıradışı, düşündürücü, bulmaca-bilmece kompozisyon, gerçekten IQ ları kesinlikle çok yüksek Deniz-Korkut ikilisine çok yakışmış.Eline fikrine gözüne sağlık.
PS.Sayende fotoğ.silmeyi öğrendim başımı ağrıtan kare vardı onu sildim,çok teşekkür ederim.
