In Switzerland there are several places where railway makes a spiral to tackle elevation diffecences of the mountaineuos country. But I think Brusio spiral viaduct is the only one entirely overground.
The viaduct is on the Bernina line close to Italian border. Viaduct is 110 metres long, has a radius of 70 metres and slope of 7%.

I like the framing with the train appearing form the lower corner and flowing towards the middle. The colours I find them a bit soft but overall you manage to capture the perspective of this setting very well. Your note is short but informative. Thanks.

Hi Kari, How well that there are sometimes curves on the railroads, always occasion to make interesting photo. Beautiful view of this red train on a viaduct. I wasn't there but my son wants to go there just tomorrow.
Warm regrads MAlgo

Having driven through the Swiss country side a few times. I have come to know and love this scenery very well. I always enjoy seeing the red train passing by. This is a really good POV with the curve of hte rail leading to the end or the beginning of it.
Good shot as always.

hmmm....this one is different.
makes me realize that we most often see train photos where the train is coming TOWARD us, here in yours its moving AWAY from us.
I also like that you decided to cut out the skyline, i think that worked well here.
love trains and train bridges!
