Photographer’s Note

After the marvellous walk through the mountains of the HOHER KASTEN near Appenzell (pictures on TE later)the red cabin of the cable-car was comming down.
We use it to get up there,but these people in it were not so fond of going down on foot I think......

De background of the coloured autumn-trees contrasting the red cabin made idea for the picture by itself.

Hi Albrecht,
Good shot showing the cable car on excellent light and just beautiful background of autumn colours. It really is a nice carpet of differend shades of brown and forest green.
This region belongs to canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden, not Schaffhausen.

A great idea and a superb capture with the cable car nicely blending and contrasting at the same time with the hues of the forest. Your POV is ideal and tight cropping has ensured high impact. The clarity of detail is very good, as one can see both the individual trees and also the visages of the passengers. Well done.
