Photographer’s Note

Wildkirchli is the name of a 3 caves system in the cliff below the Ebenalp. Here at 1488m over sea level, a chapel was first created in the cave in 1657, completed in 1785 by an altar (click for WS) and in 1860 by the belltower you can see here. This was by far not the first use of these caves where rests traced back to 60000 BC have been found.

The path going along the cliff by the church is quite narrow, and to the left is a fatal void, hidden here by the plant, under the morning light a better view would be possible from a position more to the left but I have limited trust in miracles and will leave it up to photographers more tired of life to present it...
