Photographer’s Note

Haslen is the village next to Teufen, but already on the other side of the intercantonal border in the rich Inner Rhodes where farmers drive to their tractors in Jaguars...
The village core is tiny but features one of the most beautiful papagolfades of the region, nice to see from all angles following the day and the light, here the evening view from behind.

This image marks the official debuts of Haslen in the TE gallery.

Hi Jean Yves,
Wonderfull capture; a good sample of "Swiss Precision" as well.
Perfect sharpness and wonderfull colors. Unusual but very nice architecture and perfect pov.

Voilà qu'on fait tous les deux dans l'ouverture de galerie ce matin ! Toi en Suisse, moi en Normandie ;o)

Encore une image qui claque bien grâce à ce bleu dont l'auteur ne fait aucun doute ;o)
Cette église suisse est vraiment étonnante, tant par son architecture, que par sa couleur blanche accentuée par les forts contrastes.
Une image très Pixelterrorienne pour une Papagolfade !

Bonjour Jean Yves ,
Quelle formidable papagolfade ! Bien sûr , on pourrait trouver le ciel un peu trop bleu . Et bien tant pis , j'aime beaucoup ce ciel carte postale , avec une église non moins remarquable . La netteté est exceptionnelle , le cadrage , parfait . Un vrai plaisir .

Toujours à l'affut des premières sur TE!Toi, tu maitrises totalement le redressement -) et tu trouves des ciels bleus partout. Il fait très propret ce village mais t'as pas un peu trop saturé les couleurs quand même?

Outstanding photo!!!!!
Your composition is great creating a diagonal through the shot with the tops of the towers. The lighting and colors are amazing as is the sharpness and DOF. The deep blue sky provides a great backdrop for the shot.

A totally charming old town scene - good thing there are no jaguars in the image, though; that would have spoiled it. Great capture of the strong blues and greens - and the whites, which are strong without being overdone.

Je vois que tu n'as pas perdu la main pour nous dégotter de jolies églises avec de beaux ciel bleus. Belle lumière et une compo bien équilibrée avec les croix, girouette et cheminée qui forment une ligne diagonale.

Avec l'architecture comme cela on dirait plutôt un petit pays enfermé sur soit-même au lieu de la Suisse ;-)
La lumière permet que tout claque. Joli ciel polarizé.

Well now that you introduced the town to TE, it may get more tourists, especially with this shot. What a lovely perfect clearn spring day. the richness of the color, the rich blue of the sky, the earth tone brown roof of the churches, the pasterize green field, the way Switzerland is famous for. Beautiful composition, great clarity, great light, beautiful colors. I love it.

Bonjour, JY. Le ciel à la PixelTerror® est vraiment impressionnant. Il met splendidement en valeur l'église et ses beaux murs blancs et la façade brune de la maison qui la jouxte. L'avant-plan vert apporte lui aussi son lot de contraste. Dommage que tu ne nous montres pas en WS ces gentlemen farmers qui enfourchent leur tracteur après être sortis de leur Jaguar. Pour une prochaine photo sans doute ;o).

it's either every house/building in Switzerland is beautiful or you just manage to find such very interesting and beautiful views somewhere...
Excellently composed shot, and surely wonderful rich colours. The bright sunny day helped a lot ;)
Sometimes Switzerland (and this view is no exception) seems to me a very big, very clean and very neat open-air museum where everything has been preserved perfectly well from "times immemorial"! :) I've been there twice and each time I got the same impression. In Sweden I am like at home. In Switzerland I am like in a museum... How curious??
