Pity I couldn´t get nearer to this scene due the electronic controlled fence along this green hills,along the way to Appenzell,a little typical Swiss town,very touristic and its a must to visit this place and its surroundings, otherwise you haven´t seen Switzerland.Hope you like it.

No need to make these two opposite(like in "The beauty and the beast"- this milky creature is so nice !). Simply - beautiful cow. :-) Nice landscape.

Hello Lance,
Those interesting clouds provide a superb backdrop to the scene, contrasting so well with the bright green hillside. The tree is perfectly positioned in the photo, and the cow adds good life, and additional interest to the result. Very well done.

la vache se trouve dans un paysage fantastique avec ces nuages menaçants et cet arbres au dimension imposante.

B'ful landscape. Nice bisection of the frame- with one half in color and the other in B&W (well, almost...). One qs- why is Switzerland alwyz shown in cows and meadows ;-)

This shot has all the elements of a great photo. The angry sky cut by the tree and cow, the horizon running across the the photo. Nicely done!

Thanks for your note. Now I realise I haven't seen Switserland yet.
Not only the cow but also the tree that both stand out on that beautiful impressive sky make this picture very beautiful.
