Photographer’s Note
In a number of European countries, the beginning of september marks the end of the summer holiday, school start for the children and return to work (and TE browsing ;-) ) for their parents. In Appenzell people wake up earlier, so they have already started again some time ago, here you see Appenzeller on their way to work using competing transportation options, the private car and the ever red Appenzellerbahnen local train.
Note also how the communication axes (for cars, trains and electrical power) are kept together to minimize their impact on the landscape and probably as well to avoid complicated property ownership cases when building.

Morning JY,
Back to work? I am already working whole summer ;-)
First i thought that without the car it would be better, but it's a VW, so it should stay ;-)
The red of the train makes the difference here, for contrast and the curve he is making. Those big mountains in the back give us the feeling of Swiss at is best..very nice.
Have a nice day, Henk

Yes is such a pity that summer is almost gone. This is our last long weekend of the summer and people usually take advantage of it to have some fun before children go back to school. Good image and interesting architectural designs. I agree the lines, rails and road look better together. The colours and perspective of the image are very good. Thanks Jean Yves.

Salut Jean-Yves,
Amicalement, Christian

Hi Jean.
Back to work....argggg, an awful thing....... :P
A nice idea how they kept together the communication axes. In Spain, it will be a complete caos...
About the picture excellent colours but I like the background. It's great!

Hi Jean Yves
The first matter in your shot that attract viewr is paradox between Railroad and car road and this is an art of photography.use of moments and taking a shot with nice attraction.
In first glance I think the train move in the road.Your POV is wonderful.also composition is superb.
Generally I like your shot very much.
Well done.
afshin.

Next time, please jump that fence and lay on the opposite green grass to take this one. :) What is this Golf doing here stealing the leading role to that flashy red consist? Honestly, this one doesn't fill entirely my cup. I guess there is too much sky here and too less train. I would like to see that train closer to me.

Salut JY,

Salut mon ami,
It's true that Semptember call us back to work or school. The summer vacatios are too short! Anyway, I love winter more much than summer, so I'm somewhat happy that it comes.
Your photo is very fine as always! i like the fine colors and the great lighting. Excellent framing too. I made a Workshop to present a more vivid version. Take a look!

A wonderful morning picture, with a nice "on the way to work" mood the complementary colors of red and green are great.

salut Jean Yves
