Photographer's Note

This photo was taken on my way to the Church of Saint Clare (Klara kyrka) which you can see far in the distance.

The "typical" view of Stockholm again...
But this mixture of architectural styles of different years, in fact, represents a strange (and yet natural) integrity. When you are in Stockholm and see all this you realize: this is right as it should be.

The city looks as usual: happy and reserved; sunny, relaxed and busy; it accepts you with unforgettable dignity.

Some information:

On the very right (you can't the the whole building) there is The Royal Swedish Academy of Arts (Kungliga Akademien för de fria konsterna) founded in 1773 by King Gustav III.

In the distance there is the Church of Saint Clare (Klara kyrka); it is located on Klara Västra Kyrkogata in the Klara area in lower Norrmalm. The graveyard has had the same location since the 1600s.

PS. The left part of the photo (the building in the shade) is a little darker in the original photo, so I adjusted shadows and levels for it a little bit.
