Photographer's Note

This photo was taken at Vaxholm.
------------------------------------------------------
"Vaxholm is a genuine small archipelago city with many summer guests. Ever since the 1800s, the harbor has been a center for boat traffic and for archipelago life.

Vaxholms history runs from the first half of the 16th century when Gustav Vasa had a block house built on the little island where Vaxholm Fortress is located today.

Today the city is a prime place to visit for both Stockholmers and tourists. The whole commune has about 10000 inhabitants.

You can get to Vaxholm by boat, bus, or automobile. Two bridges tie the main island of Vaxn with the mainland."
