[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture is taken at exactly the same spot as the one I posted yesterday.

This is a contribution the the theme "The little red hut" created by "molla" (Anders Mohlin). Then of course there is a slight marine theme in this one as well.

The island is Stora Jonsholmen, just south of Saltholmen, in the southern archipelago of Gothenburg.

Take particular note of the rounded rocks here. They are well abraded by the ice sheet that covered northern Europe and melted away about twelve thousand years ago.

Hello Gunnar,
A simple but effective composition. I particularly like the harmony of soft tones around the little red hut. Very good clarity. The image has a very serene feeling about it.

I spent a lot of time taking picture of huts and cottages similar to this one. Would love to picnic on some Surströmming on tunnbröd on the rocks in front of the hut

Very fine colours. The red hut goes well to the green and yellow parts of the island. I appreciate that neither the sky nor the water is entirely blue.

Fine vivid bright coastal colors here. It feels like you can almost touch the salt in the air! After molla created this theme I have to go little red hut hunting!

Interesting history and maybe I'll buy that little hut if it's so sale :) A great spot , surrounded with these beautiful rocks. Perhaps I should plan for the future though, this would NOT be a great place to get around with a walker. lol TFS
