MAYDAY in Scandinavia was situated in the best of manner

Stendörren Nature Reserve was established in order to preserve
the area’s great natural values. Set in a landscape of seacoast and
archipelago, the reserve contains about 900 hectares (2,224
acres) which are meant to be accessible for outdoor recreational
purposes. Stendörren is also intended to be used as a resource for
public education on nature conservation, the environment, and
the human history of the reserve and its surroundings.
Included in the nature reserve is the area around the fisherman’s
leasehold, Griskär, which is situated one nautical mile from the
coast can be reached only by boat. The mainland section and
nearby islands are freely accessible to all visitors. Via a series of
foot-bridges, some of them suspended, it is possible to walk out to
the edge of the open sea, with views over shipping channels and
the distant horizon. Distributed throughout the area are cooking
grills with firewood, rubbish disposal facilities, outdoor toilets
and wind-shelters. There is also a lookout tower from with a large
portion of the archipelago can be viewed.
Marked hiking trails of various lengths lead to pleasant resting-
places. A special trail is provided for the physically handicapped;
and for those who travel to the reserve by passenger boat, there is
a ramp from the landing dock to the roadway.
There is something to do at Stendörren during every season of the
year, including such activities as fishing, bathing, hiking, ice-
skating or just relaxing.

Hello Anders!

This is other coastline of the see I love and I live at, and it's beautiful too... great colors splendid contrast and magnificent composition.

Jacek

Hej Anders,
Beautiful clouds and a very serene atmosphere. Well saturated colours, just on the verge of being a bit dark.
Hälsningar,

Olá Anders,

I see a good light management in this one. It looks the lights were very low at the moment but you did a great job bringing all those to the scene. It's enough for the pertinent details of this nice view. Well done!

Carlos

Heej Anders..
I noticed the date taken and I think this is a good (mabye the best) way to demonstrate...and use as a free from work day.
Apart from a beautiful photo we can also add the signs of the iceage displayed on the rock.

Hej Anders,
nice and apparently very quiet seaside location, you did not miss that attractive cloud in the sky. It seems to me your latest photos got quite dark, did you get a new screen ?
Have a nice day JY

So that's how it looks on the other site:) . . . I should go and have a look there . . . it looks beautiful!
I agree with Gert, it's close to being too dark . . . but it doesn't spoil a bit . . . maybe it's better to take a different route . . . and I shouldn't complain about that :)
good compo . . . scene . . . theme and thanks for the note!
regards,
David

Hi Anders
Nice capture of our sea, from other side :). Interesting place.
Regards

Hej Anders,
A very calm and peaceful atmosphere in this picture, that has a very appealing composition (and a very interesting note). I have read the discussions here about the light and I.m surprised to see that even Gert thinks it´s a bit on the dark side. I usually think his photos are somewhat dark. But now I also realize the importance of the screen, I brought a laptop to Italy last week and did some processing with that. When we came home and I could use my ordinary screen, I had to reprocess everything...

Hej Anders,
In Norwegian those clouds are called "makrellskyer", and they are supposed to tell the story of summer!
A lovely landscape composition, where the elements work very well together...
Attractive colours, for some reason they remind more about late summer than spring!
Greetings,
Pablo -
