[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After a few day without much to see, apart from the island posted yesterday, there is another sign that we are approaching the narrower part of the Baltic Sea, between Danmark and Sweden: in this one, there is a ship in sight, just a little dot on the horizon but a real one, not a defect in the picture. It gives at least something different form the usual waves...
In workshop, something completly diffrent: a lesson wih the Captain, on how to tie a ship to a pier. What I remember in what you can see on the (green) balckboard: two ropes tied in the opposite directions are needed for a safe mooring.

A very nice week end to all.

Hello Emmanuel,
Very nice perspective and excellent handling of the tough backlighting with this shot! This is a great seafaring photo in my opinion and I love the slight tilting of the ship, the beautiful highlights on the wooden deck, the waves and the tiny (appearing) boat in the distance. The composition is excellent and I always give extra credit to the photographer when I see that this difficult type of lighting was captured with film. This is excellent and impressive photography!

Bonjour Emile,
j'aimerai toujours ce genre de photo, elle pointe sur le lointain, sur l'aventure. Et comme les autres, elle est nette et baigne dans de belles lumières.
Excellent week-end.
Daniel.

Good morning Emmanuel!
For me it's always again amazing from how many angles one can show a ship - and life on it. This photo also gives the feeling of taking part in your voyage - and again this impression of "going forward" and wideness. Thoughts of a landlubber ... ;-)
I like this one with this 2mm on horizon which caused the title ...
Have a nice weekend!
Frank

Hi Emmanuel! excellent shot! This lesson him I remember apprenticeship in sailboat! as the name of ropes that they tie up in the stern. Your picture I like that shows the prow and the anchor and because it is to the travel the boat! good travel,
Georgios

Bonjour Emmanuel,
After yesterday's land in sight, today it's ship in sight. Good composition and balance between the ship and the wide sea. The light is fine, breaking a little bit through the cloud cover. Good work!
Regards,
Lars

Hello Emmanuel,
Well framed view, fine dynamic lines!
I like the reflection in the shiny deck, did you clean it, hehehe...
Impressive sharp details, and well done to spot the ship in that distance!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Salut Emmanuel,
nice shot of this part of the sailing boat, with impressive colours and light.I think that the main theme of your capture must be the deck of the boat and no the ship that lost in the infinity.I like the sharpness and the clarity of your photo and the most interesting is that there is not an element of movement.Well done Emmanuel.

Regards,Danos
