Hello folks.
Last Saturday/Sunday we helped our youngest daughter to move to a town in the northern parts of Sweden called Skellefteå. There she will study at a high school. We drove our car with a trailer behind filled up with most of her belongings. It was a long way, 1070 km one way!
The landscape gets quite different (=beautiful) when you get approx 300-350 km north of Stockholm. Soon you will come to something that is called the High Coast. It is a world heritage. In the link you can read more about it.
Where the High Coast starts there is this bridge in the photo called Höga Kusten Bron (the High Coast Bridge).

FACTS ABOUT THE HIGH COAST BRIDGE
• Concrete in towers and land abutments: 40 000 m ³
• Steel in the bridge deck: 14 000 tonnes
• Steel wire in the cables: 8 500 tonnes
• Cost: 120 million €
• Reinforcement: 4 000 tonnes
• Total length: 1 800 m
• Headroom under bridge: 40 m
• Bridge width: 17,8 m
• Span between the towers: 1 210 m
• Surface treatment/painting: 60 000 m ²
• The pylons reach 180 meters above the water surface.

The links refers to the Swedish sites www.highcoast.net and www.hogakustenbron.nu .
In the WS the photo shows the bridge from down under.

Hello, Per,
wow, what a view!! Great POV with wonderful sharp detail and the sky is gorgeous. I like that bit of road you can see curving beneath the bridge. That's sure a beautiful place. Kindest regards,
Shelly

Hi Per,
Interesting to see such huge bridge in the middle of wilderness. Good angle and light. Well done PP.

Hello Per,
Impressive bridge, and you found a fine point of view!
I like the resulting composition with the strong lines, backlight adds to the bridge but maybe not to the sky...
The shimmering water is a fine element!
Greetings,

Hi , Per .
What a wonderful photo !
Beautiful bridge and landscape . A wonderful late summer mood with soft harmonious colours . Your point of view is excellent and the narrow red line on the bridge is a modest but very effective addition to complete the photo !
Kindest regards
Dorte.
