Göteborgs Skärgård

Still using my archives in my search for pictures to upload. This time I found this one, taken about 1½ year ago in Göteborgs Södra Skärgård (Gothenburg Archipelago), Sweden.

The southern archipelago includes eight inhabited island, Brännö, Asperö, Köpstadsö, Vargö, Styrsö, Donsö, Vrångö and Vinga. The islands have about 5,000 permanent residents. From Saltholmen, the public transport in Göteborg, Västtrafik has six ferries sailing to the several islands. It really is a very nice trip and the islands self are also worth visiting.
Here we just arrived at Brännö, an island with 627 inhabitants.

Hello Lars,
Strong colours and fresh clean air with good visibility!
A well composed image with a touch of autumn colours, the house with the red roof is a wise inclusion as it provides good colour contrast...
Great place for a sailing vacation!

Dag Lars,

Kijk nogmaals in uw archief want er steken daar blijkbaar mooie foto's in.
Technisch een zeer goede foto, het perspectief en de diepte zijn goed genomen, de aanlegsteiger in de voorgrond geeft de aanzet om door te kijken naar de achtergrond, waar dan het rodedak contrast kleur brengt tegen de strak blauwe hemel, goed foto werk Lars.

Olá Lars, a really nice blue capture, with an excellent composition. A strong graphic foreground with a well placed mast at right and a very attractive converging point of passage bettween the rocks in the background. The house at left is a nice inclusion, as well. Very good finding on your archives.

Bonsoir, mon ami Lars,
Très bon cadrage pour mettre en valeur cette petite marina où les bateaux se balancent mollement à la suite d'un passage d'un autre bateau.
La lumière est très bien gérée et les couleurs ressortent à merveille.

Another fine exemple of the good blue colors of Scandinavia. I would have thought this one one has been taken in summer for the good light and colors. The entrance of this natural harbour is very nice (in the background) but being more interested in traditional boats, I am less impressed by the modern dinghies in the foreground. Very good sharpness again.

Hi Lars. That's not a bad find at all in the old archive search! You managed to fit all of the essential elements into the foreground comfortably. Of course the light and blue water are tops as well. A person might be nice in the foreground but other than that it's perfect. tfs Lars!

Sometimes this happens, you don't have any recent shot to post and checking your portfolio you find a very good shot like this one. Beautiful composition, sharp colors and good POV. A very well protected bay with a nice passage.

Bonjour Lars.
La présence du bateau bleu du premier plan donne beaucoup de charme à cette composition. Il est à un point fort et au point de départ du regard pour parcourir ce paysage.

Hej Lars, dit beeld roept het verlangen op om de boel te laten, in een van die boten te stapppen. Een rustgevend beeld met mooi getekend water, heerlijke kleuren en sterk geframed. Mooi is ook hoe het oog naar de doorgang getrokken wordt. Fijn werk!

A good angle in this shot which provides us with a diagonal crossing the foreground. Everything is well framed. Nice colours and sharpness.

well captured and framed shot of a good perspective and sense of depth. The pov is well chosen, the light is spot on and the colours are nice and well saturated. It looks like a calm and peaceful place. Well done!

I like the way you have composed this image of yours, very awesome light, and very interesting composition, where the sense of depth you have given to it, enhances a lot the details within your image! Awesome as usual!

Hi Lars,
A good POV making me want to go out on one of these boats and take this inviting channel in BG... Nice colors, fine texture of water. Well framed and good POV giving sense of depth to the picture..

The foreground diagonal works well in the composition. Our eye is also drawn to the red roof from where we scan the horizon. I'm glad you didn't cut the top off the boat's mast.

Bonjour Lars,
Archives de luxe avec une très belle photo aux couleurs éclatantes et qui montre que le Danemark peut aussi être une terre de vacances et de plaisance.
La palette des bleus me plait vraiment et donne cette impression de climat serein et du sud.
Excellent cadrage avec vue sur l'estuaire et sortie vers la mer.

Echt een typisch Zweeds plaatje, maar het blijft mooi om naar te kijken. Deze zomer ga ik dus niet naar Zweden:( Maar wie weet een ander jaar weer:) De zigzagvorm van het blauwe water geeft een goede diepte en het huisje links heeft ook wel wat.
