Photographer’s Note
The northern exit of the Alv river (Göta alv) into the Skaggerak .this is much quieter than the southern exit which is through the town of Gothenburg ,shipyards ,oil tanks and container depot.The contrast between these two estuarys is extreme. only sound to be heard was the gentle cracking of the thin sheet of ice on the water.
