[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This castle is to be found at Bogesundslandet, Vaxholm outside Stockholm.
The castle was built in the year of 1650 by Per Brahe (Brahe is a famous Swedish noble family)
The four towers was built 1860. Inspired from the medieval knight castles.
Now the castle is empty and owned by the Swedish Government. Some rooms opens up sometimes during the summer to the public.
Many ghost stories surrounds this place. The most famous one is about a crying lady. This story has even been on TV several times.
It has been said that she wanders the empty castle, weeping, and nobody really knows why or who she is. You can sometimes see her standing in the windows in her white dress.

I like the central composition of this photo, and the colour of the stonework seems to be enhanced by the sunlight falling directly onto it.
My eye is drawn to all the windows examining all the different reflections.

Nice castle, but it's like paper....
And in the evening, when it is dark,
I can imagine, that here could be ghosts !

Very stong colours combination.
Image a bit usharp however.

Very strong colors and contrast. Normally, a centered building in a photo is not very attractive, but your composition is nice as the trees on the left and right compensate for the emptiness on both sides.

I missed that one Frida. It's very elegant castle. The proportions are perfect. Your shot is also very good. You decided to center the castle and in that case, it was the right choice. Well done.

Wonderful composition Frida ! Itīs magnifique !
Great colours !
Congratulations

Wow...really an unusual arquitecture to me Frida! You managed to get a lovely composition with that trees filling the frame here. Good vivid colors too.

It doesn't look as a "ghost castle", rather attractive. By its colour and also its four sqauare towers that give some kind of majesty. Good composition too, centering it is the right choice here.

I don't see this famous lady at all Frida. But I like those kind of stories and think there must allways be some fact they are funded on...

A simple but very beautiful composition, likes the light and framing, well considering.

Good compoced photo, excellent light, good contrast, very good color, good dokumentation.

Nice balanced compo with good light.

Nice detail, with good colors. The reflection of the sky on the windows, give the impression that only this wall exists. I like the symmetry. A nice classic photo of a monument.

Thank you Frida. I almost didn't believe your note. How something as "Disney" as this castle, could have anything like Casper. Your composition and exposure is good here Frida.

I like this direct shot with three different well balanced colours. Well done Frida.

Nice shot! I like the symmetry of this photo!

Nice contrast. Nice colors! Very well done Frida!
