[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Strandvägen, Stockholm is a boulevard like street in Östermalm, lined with beautiful stone buildings on one side and a quay stretching along the other side. The street was finished in time for the Stockholm World's Fair in 1897. It is considered one of the most luxurious places to live in the city.

this is really a fantastic view, and the roof tops are incredible. Thanks for sharing

Very well seen, George, the POV is great really, as it not only allows to form this eye-catching perspective of fin de siecle houses and the green tree line, but also to include the second perspective - of boat piers. The sea and sky pleasantly frame the architecture. However, I think the image would benefit from a simple noise reduction...

Cheers
Alexander

what an interesting scene, especially since I live by Stockholm, Wisconsin which was founded by Swedish immigrants

Seen well and well made... TE means travelling and that is very good. The composition with the succession of almost identical buildings and these towers is pleasant and wellrealized . It is a wise photo and one needs that !

Amicalement ,

Hello George,
Very good point of view on Strandvägen!
The typical architecture from the last part of 1800 is well depicted with excellent sharp details...
I like the way you also include seaside life, Stockholm is a city with very good access to water which is shown in this well composed image!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Dear George
This is really wonderful...composition is excellent with facades of the beautiful buildings & their lovely spires. I like the layers here...the buildings, the green hedge border & the boats. Very well done

Hi George,
Fantastic view with an incredible architecture. Excellent POV and colours. Good perspective and lovely light.
Very well done.
TFS and greetings,
Aires

Hi George - wonderful bright colours, the spires are so charming ands beautiful, the concrete monster at right is all the more shocking.

You have taken many pcitures of Stockholm, but all of them a very nice. I like the beautifull blue sea of this one and the excellent sharpness of the buildings and boats. In fact, I know the place since "Rara Avis", the French schooner I sailed with during the summer of 2005, was moored exactly here (a little more on the right, nearer to the bridge leading to the island with the Wasa museum)...

All the best,

Emmanuel

Hi, George! A very nice composition, in which the many towered buildings alined make an interesting cityscape! A colorful and amazing day scene! Well done! TFS! Regards! Miguel.

hello,
what a perfect picture. perhaps a little problem with compression level (on the sky mainly), but it remains a great shot. Colours are so lightfull and contrasted. A nice POV giving perfect perspective.
Best regards
JMarc
