Photographer’s Note

We have had a wonderful autumn in Sweden this year with lovely autumn colors. This photo is taken from a spot in front of Uppsala Castle. Between the trees the Cathedral of Uppsala is seen. The Cathedral is the largest church in Scandinavia. The hieght of it is 118.7 m. The construction of the cathedral began in the 13th century and it was inaugurated in 1435. It has been restored many times since then.

This is a gorgeous shot! I love how you framed the cathedral with those two brilliant trees. Those colors are excellent. I like there contrast with the greener leaved trees in the background.

Very pretty fall colours ... I will admit that this is pretty much the same kind of colours that we get in Canada, but you have an additional advantage of adding a beautiful architecture to this photo.

Beautiful colors again- Sweden looks lovely in the fall. The church is a big bonus in the composition, it fits perfectly between the trees. The POV you took it from must have been pretty high- I like it. Good work!

Beautiful composition and perspective with the cathedral framed between the tress. Both the trees and the spires of the cathedral stand out very nice against the sky. The autumn colours are superb. Well done!

Interesting use of strong autumn colours to frame the ancient architecture!
This is a lovely view to the church and a fine reminder autumn is right around the corner, hopefully we'll have some fine days for photography after the worst summer for ages!!
