Fishing village from the middleages, a photo from Gotland, Gotaland

Photographer's Note

This is a fishing village on the north of Gotland. These houses all comes from the middleages and are still being used to day, mostly as a museum. The village is famous in Sweden and occur in a number of commersials and pictures. And the village is marked as a world culture legacy. (Don´t know the name for it in english)

Nice composition. Good colours, especially the grey. I like the way the three boats seems to be leaving the house and going down to the water. I might have cropped the photo just to the left of the black house, so as to remove the green area.

Just as I keep imagining Sweden in my memory! Beautiful when sunny weather, not the gray we are afraid of... ;o)

Great composition, good strong colours, nice framing but could be cropped a little more off the left, avoiding the pole & corrected a slight tilt to the left. (I've tryed a WS)

These is a beautiful graphic quality to this photo. Very fine texture in the stones on the beach. The movement of black wooden things across the image and into the sea is amusing and well seen.
I also couldn't resist a workshop.

I like the colors but framing is a little strange, I would have tallied more to the bottom thus more beach than of sky even if the blue of the sky is interesting.

very interesting place, looks very asthetic, all the picture looks so clean and ordered... I am wondering whether I'd like to see more sea or the way you caputured it is just right... nice shot!

Mi piace moltissimo questa foto! È molto caratteristica, la composizione è azzeccata, dalle case alle barche verso il mare. Un immagine stupenda perché rende l'idea di quello che volevi trasmettere!!!
