This image was taken in the next inlet parallel to the inlet with the boardwalk.
We only had a couple of hours in Smögen while enroute to Fredrikstad in Norway. If I return to sweden I will visit here again and stay at least 1 week.
Camera hand held, setting of aperture priority. Probably the wrong aperture and ISO. It is easy to not concentrate on the camera set-up particularly when in a rush. Sky darkened diagonally from top right using gradient tool (LR3.6) . Selective contrast adjustments using "dodge and burn". Should probably attempt again to improve whiteness of buildings.

Smögen is well known today for its long, wooden pier (around 600 meters), filled with shops in old fishing huts, which are frequented by a multitude of tourists during the summer. It is one of the liveliest "summer towns" of the Swedish West Coast

A spectacular one of the village under the storm clouds. Great colour and you work on the houses has brought them up.
