Photographer’s Note
The Oresund bridge connects Sweden to the European continent. The high bridge is on the Swedish side - on the Danish side there is a tunnel and an artificial island.
The picture was taken from a sailing boat after passing under the bridge.

I saw this bridge from the air, before landing in Copenhagen, a few years ago. It is really impressive. The curves give this view more power. It might be impressive also in B/W. well done, Magnus.

As I say in my 'Intro', I'm fascinated by bridges, especially cable-stay bridges. This one is a lovely one and your picture of it too! Great composition and light! Thank you so much for sharing!

Fantastic shot. I like how we cannot see land anywhere (or at least only barely). It makes it look as if the bridge is endless.

Photo d'une grande netteté, bien contrastée, luumineuse, bien cadrée aussi, la perspective est excellemment captée.

Well done, I like how you captured the curvature of the bridge, and the shadows on the supports make them distinguishable and visually appealing. I would only say that I prefer a more documentary approach to TE photography, and would have left the antennas in the photo rather than change reality to make it prettier.

Wonderful capture and fine presentation Magnus. This is a great point of view, close to the water. And you give us the lovely sweep of this beautiful bridge, the supports repeating into the distance as the bridge curves. There is a bit of noise in the sky, especially around bridge elements that may be artifacts of sharpening. A judicious use of the blur tool can eliminate the noise, thereby making this fine image even better. I've owned a Sony camera and know of their excellent lenses. You own a fine camera and give us a wonderful image. Thank you and welcome to TE.

A fine POV giving a nice sweep of the curved bridge. A good light too, note how the shadows splits the pier in exact halves.

I've seen this bridge quit a lot times, but never on such a clear, sunny day. Most of the time it is a little bit hazy and it is difficult to sea to opposite side (I think in this case Denmark) so clear.
Great picture.

It must be really nice to sail by bridges, you have extra good pov's.
Good picture, good lines, good colours (especially the deep blue), good sharpness, etc;)
I have seen this brigde much more, but never without anything else than just the mainsubject: the brigde itself.

I like your image of Øresundsbron, Magnus, and there are mainly two reasons. First of all your low POV, which is very appealing, giving the water a deep blue color tone. Second that you've shot it from the southern side, which is very unusual as it curves toward north. This way the bridge itself is really the main object, which a underlined by the elevated angle you've used. A nice detail are the navigation marks adding green and red color spots. Very well done!
I don't understand the part about 'removal of antennas'. What antennas? Where?

Belle réalisation au cadrage soigné. La courbe du pont est bien représentée sur ce cliché.

A fine view of this (other) bridge which connect Sjælland to the world ;-) I like the angle - which only can be optain from a boat - You got the photo with a fine light - I like the mix of shadows and light. Thanks Magnus

Impressive perspective! With a fine diagonal direction, you get a great depth for this image. And the sky helped you that day. Great shot! Regards.

Great shot Magnus.
It reminds me the "Vasco da Gama" bridge in Lisbon.
Very good light and contrast.
See you

Nice composition with good colours and definition. At this point, this bridge looks very much like the Portuguese Vasco da Gama Bridge at Lisbon, over River Tejo. Good work ..

The endless feeling of this bridge is breath-taking. The FOV is perfect to allow us to get the feeling. The DOF is so nice such that we can see all the details both near and far. Great job, MvS!

Hi Magnus,
Great POV and specatcular composition of this bridge. I discovered this from the theme of Lars. The shape of it against the sky is great and the repetition of the structural pilars in this perspective is very nice with the shadows on them enhancing that effect. Congratulations!
TFS,
Best regards,
Ricardo

What a gorgeous shot of that bridge, Magnus! I have travelled over it many times but it's so beautiful from the perspective of the sail boat! The lines are clean and crisp against that wonderful blue sky. I like that it is the only reference in the photo and that the eye follows the curvature of the lines easily and comfortably from right to left.
Excellent Photo!!
