An island in the Bohuslan arcipelago famous for its sunsets. However you had to climb quite far to get there. The family in the picture did so - we did not. They probably had a different experience of the sunset, but they missed their own silhouette! I think the people - especially the children looks like sculptures.
Photo is taken from a long distance and is ruthelessly cropped. Colours are unchanged and contrast is not used, however some unsharpness to reduce some noise in the sky has been used.
I have put the original photo in a WS. Have a look, and tell me what you think.
The "giant head" of the tallest person I beleive is a small child sitting on its fathers shoulders.

I like outlines so much. Maybe you can catch only two ?children? on the right

Hej Magnus, jag försöker att skriva svenska nu :) Detta foto ser bra ut, tycker jag. Vackra färger och min första tanke var också att det är en staty på en backe. Jättebra!

A great capture, Magnus. I agree with you that "the people look like sculptures", but I think that the silhouettes of the children have a certain amount of energy to them. A beautiful image. Very well framed.

This is a very special and original picture. The composition and the colours are simple, but that what makes this picture so fantastic. This one goes to my favourites!

i'm amazed that the colours are untouched here! VERY nice!! :) the people do look kinda funny - i like how they don't look posed, but they're just natural, doing whatever they were doing. i don't know what the original looked like, but i like the crop here too. the curved land kinda leads the eye down to those kids.

a very graphical image - you wouldn't think it's a photography at first glance.
Reduced to the max: just two colours, and just the silhouette.
The head of the tallest person is enormous...
I think you got the better photo from this perspective - you can be sure that it's more original than a normal sunset.

Some norsk in addition to our netherland students in Danmark?
Kjempefin fotografi med storslått kontrasten på forgrunn og himmelen. Et lekker tolkning om Sveriges 'solkyst'.
For the rest of the world:
Brillant shot with stunning contrast of the foreground to the sky. Great way to interpret the swedish 'suncoast'.

I like this a lot Magnus. Knowing how you did it makes it better still in my eyes. :). Looking at it I can see another even more severe crop that would work - the right half of the image! Worth a try I think.

Simple, elegant, two-tone only. I wouldn't change a thing.

Wonderful graphical result you got with the people silhouettes engagingly placed by the hillside. So simple, but quite effective. Looking at the original, I really think you did a judicious cropping job here. Good work, Magnus.

Excellent silhouette shot. The two figures to one side somehow add to the compostion in a dish=jointed sort of way.
