Photographer’s Note
I promised Hojper to repost the non-unsaturated pic. I think I prefer the BW although I do like the sparkling colours. Different crop because I'd like to hear whether people thinks the horizontal or vertical format is best.
Old Note: More Lappland. A friend of mine taking a break after a tough day of walking. The pic is thought as a brother-image to my 'Small Girl in a Big World'.
Photoshop: Cropped to get the symmetric composition. Saturated 10%, monochrome in the the channel mixer and played with the channals to get an interesting greyscale. Levels, curves and sharpening.

Nice place and nice vertical composition. The center of the picture is really burned but it's not so disturbing in this case. The man give an good idea of the immensity of this landscape. Well done Mikkel !
