Photographer’s Note
The name Småland ("small lands") comes from the fact that it was a combination of several independent lands. In the 19th century, Småland was characterized by poverty, and had a substantial emigration to North America, which additionally hampered its development.

Hi Helena
One word..peacefull. I like how you can see rings in the water and how the rocks just seem to be suspended. Good details seen in both the FG and the BG. Soft and natural autumn colours. Great technique.

Hi Helena,
a pretty calm image, well exposed with beautiful colours. The depth and sharpness is very good. I like it much. Fine work, thank you

Hello Helena,
I like this vertical shot and its composition. The boat in the foreground naturally leads the eye into the shot. The light and colours are also superb. My only reservation would be that the horizon could use a bit of straightening, but that is a very minor flaw :-) Have a nice day, Dasha
