Photographer’s Note
End of the November, first snow came with a hard wind and after the storm the blue sky and the sun came back. Just an old birch by the river - who needs more?

I wonder how you managed your camera to catch the real white color of snow and in the same time the intense blue of river. I'd like to know the tecnique. Simply and amazing composition. Few perfect colors.

On dirait que les règlages sont parfaits, surtout au niveau de l'exposition, une neige glacée dans laquelle on peut distinguer la moindre aspérité, et ce bleu profond de l'eau.

Hi Ebbe, fine shot and funny composition, reminds me of Terje's last one, he had the blue sky, you have the blue water, and you have snow, he has ice.
Beautiful color

Uh, indeed - I'm quite satisfied with what I've got here (don't need more!).
A great visual play with this composition of textures and the DOF is just to my liking!
Well seen combo of colours, too!

Do you know these games for toddlers in the purpose of making them learn what touch is? there are different sorts of tissues, cotton pads, sometimes harder textured pieces...
I can find that in your image : it is so abstract it is all about touching...
What is the clue about you Scandinavian people and your gift about design : is that something we other people lack in our genomas? Take Torben, Olli or yourself though showing different styles, there's always the graphical/designer know how surfacing somewhere in the image.
I have far away swedish origins but that gene's gone AWOL meanwhile... :( ...
