Photographer’s Note
A glacial erratic is a piece of rock that deviates from the size and type of rock native to the area in which it rests. "Erratics" take their name from the latin word "errere", and are carried by glacial ice, often over distances of hundreds of kilometres.

Hello Anders,
An interesting view well brought in clear natural colours and putting the glacial rock in the perspective of a wider landscape.

Hello Anders my friend...
A very good arrangement of the elements that has led to this composition..the light i must say has been carefully captured..the saturation of colours are balanced..
The boulder tad centred maybe..what do you think..making it too static or maybe not !
A good post my friend..have a great weekend !
Cheers

Hej Anders,
A good example of a natural error! What is the size of this piece of rock? Sometimes, I´ve heard, it is possible to trace the origin of these rocks, by comparing crystal structure and mineral composition with bedrock from other locations. Do you know if this is the case here?

Anders,
Nice shot of this unusual rock formation. The rock is well framed by the trees helping us focus on the central subject. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The sky is great and you have captured it nicely.

Hello Anders,
I like the colors of this image. In latin the right verb is "Errare" (to wander).
Ciao, Elena

Hej Anders,
You have found an erratic block in the middle of a field, which has enabled you to fit it nicely into your composition. Similar blocks close to my home are often in the middle of trees and difficult to photograph. Very beautiful spring colours, excellent clarity and sharpness.

Hej Anders,
Very interesting sight, I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like this one. Very impressive and a reminder of the strange and marvellous things that can happen in nature.

Hej Anders,
A typical scene from the Nordic mountain bogs and plains, huge rocks placed there with no obvious reason whatsoever!
Good proof of the retreating ice some 10.000 years ago, and you give us a fine documentary of the phenomenon...
Excellent light renders great colours, pin sharp details in a well balanced composition!
Greetings,
Pablo -
