Photographer’s Note

cross my fingers but this must be the last remains of the winter 2008-2009 in this part of Sweden.
Though it is a pleasant and silent landscape I really start longing for warmer days and the first flowers

I understand your sentiment exactly.
Thankfully, the sun has appeared in England and spring is well on the way.

I like your low pov, which captures so much of the details of the snow ridges, the struggling vegetation and the steep trek up the hilside.
The cold, chilly atmosphere is illustrated nicely.

Yes, it really feels as if winter is over now. I really like this wintry picture. The picture is really well-composed and you make very good use of the bending road and I enjoy that you have feeling that threre is a farm on the other side of the hill. Ha en bra helg!

Hej Anders,
The curving road leading into the picture creates a fine depth and a fine composition. At last the days are longer than the nights and shall so remain for half a year. A good sign but you know about April weather... There may be snow again ;-)

A beautiful late winter photo with soft new snow. The light is gorgeous and the colours are natural and very pleasant. Excellent control of light and a lovely winter atmosphere. TFS!

Hej Anders,
I agree about the need for more sun and a lot higher temperatures. If it wasn't for the time of the year, I would really appreciate a silent, white scenery like this. Now I can enjoy the beauty of the yellow grass curving gently along the snow-covered road, but I do wish to see the end of this winter. Maybe in a month or so.

I imagine that you wait for the spring with anxiety, the desire of the day with very alone and surely more light, aspect your spring photos.

Hi Anders,
I understand you ... but it's a lovely view, good effect with the curve of this fence and also with grass through the snow.
