Ytterhogdall is an urban area and old parish in Hälsingland. but belongs to the municipality of Härjedalen. the church oldest parts are from 14'th century even if the main building is built late 1600.

Hello Anders,

I figure that given their location on the north, Canada and Sweden perhaps have similar landscapes. This is an interesting church building. Its design is not too elaborate yet it seem to stand in the middle of nowhere. The warm light barely touching the pinnacle is precious here. Nice image Anders :-)

Nice effect with the backlit clouds!
I notice the church design has similarities but also well visible differences as compared to Norwegian churches across the border...
The typical atmosphere is well captured, and I notice you choose to spend the winter leave up north this year!

Hi Anders.
Very nice photo, with excellent detail captured in the church despite the strong back-light. I really like gentle light glancing off the left wall of the church tower. The colour tones in the sky are very nice.

Despite the backlight you managed to have details on teh church. the colors are soft, but I guess is what you were looking for.

A wonderful atmosphere in this photo. In spite of difficult light situation you have controlled the exposure excellently. Soft, most beautiful blue hour colours. Well done! I think I found the place roughly, although you did not provide a map reference this time. ;-)

1st of march and still so many snow,but I think you are used to it and maybe you like it,but I´m looking for spring and we can see the first flowers of the year here.
Anyway,IT´s a great wintershot,taken from a good POV with excellent lightmanagement.I like the soft orange tones at the horizon and the light at this cloud.

the colours are absolutely magic here, you have captured that fleeting moment when the light and the dark are in perfect balance - all details are visible, but there are no shadows. postcard-perfect shot, I like it a lot.

A beutiful shot of this to me quite well known church I have also passed it many times going north. You make perfect use of the lighting condition here. A really fine composition and very attractive colours. TFS and ha en bra söndag.
