Remember Monday the 28th of feb 1994, celebrating the first olympic hockey gold medal in Lillehammer, with a soare throat just home comming from Norway. Also remember the summer night same year after Swedens shot out of Romania in the world football championship, they had to rapair the fontain behind your back. This is culture to me. Good angel to catch up the lines in the afternon light!

An effective point of view is resulting in fine lines for the composition!
The varied light adds life, and the pattern in the square adds a nice effect...

Hi Anders.
Marvellously dynamic shot of all those angles and shapes. The composition is great, creating a strong perspective view towards the far corner of the modern building (some kind of theatre?) on the left. I like the people in this scene, giving it life. It must have been quite a difficult exposure, with so much in shadow, but with a little very bright sunlight. Good architectural shot!

nice light hitting the main fasade of your composition: not so sure about the shadow filling up most of the frame on the right though. i remeber this square: i think, long time ago, i even had some pizza at a turkish stand on one of the corners of this squre. unrelated: interesting, that word 'torg'. in latvian 'tirgus' means 'market' (usually set up on some square); and in russian 'torg' means basically the same thing but with a twist: it's the process of haggling... and we know that the russian tribes were united by tsar's of swedish descent. small world, i guess :)
