Photographer’s Note

A cloud over Lake Vadjungen i western Värmland, close to the Norwegian border. This lake is a part of the Köla River system.

This will be my last posting for some weeks, I´ll hopefully be back with photos from Germany, Italy and France!

the clouds are really impressing as they give a really 3d sense. The reflections crated are splendid and the sharpness is great in every part of the picture. Good point of view and composition.

Hello Gunnar,

A very fine picture to sign off [temporarily] with.

A stunning sky, and its reflection in the water - the ruffled surface has blurred the trees' reflection but that's of no real importance - it even helps the composition by preventing there being a complete mirror image.

Superb colours and sharpness.

A slight lack of contrasts, but what a beautiful scenery! Another reminder of the beauty of the Koppom area. The clouds look great in both parts of the picture.

Bonsoir,
belle photo de ce lac ou se reflètent très joliments ces nuages superbes.
Cette différence dans l' eau du lac entre les partie que le vent anime un peu et celle bien calme donnent un superbe effet a ce lac.
Bonne prise aussi avec ces montagnes recouverte d' arbres au centre de votre belle prise.

Firstly thank you for your comments. I've enjoyed looking through your photo's and this one in particular caught my eye. I think the photo has very good balance and the right amounts of water and sky which looks great.Very good composition, I especially like the ripples and reflections on the water and how "The Cloud" is lit up, thanks
