Photographer’s Note
In the end of a public road
Some people just parked their cars and left – just in the end of a public road. That was some 30 years ago. The cars are still there, slowly returning to the nature.

Hello Jack,

Hi Jack,
Power of nature creates impressive results. Not something that should be allowed, but still. It looks like it slowly sinks below the earth surface. Good combination of green and rust.

Hello Jack,
This is not so far from where I grew up. When I returned a couple of years ago, for the first time in 35 years, the whole area gave me a feeling resembling this picture, so this is a piece of hyperrealism. Admittedly with a poetic touch.
Greetings,
Gert

Hi Jack!
Excellent shot! And excellent thick framing that underlines the almost hidden position of this old car.
Good work!

Hi Jack, I hope that you are well. Interesting still life of the abandoned classic car that appears to be step by step merging into the fine natural setting. Good framing, and a well-contrasted and nicely lit presentation; well seen.

Hejsan Jack.
often read you at the forum but to seldom see your masterpieces here.
Nature strikes back, actually more people should put there old ones
(cars, traktors, MC:s ) in the garden and plant things in them.
beauty and the best has always been a combination of succes
This picture has a lot of that kind of backyard wilderness over it. like it a lot

I so much like the idea of having you back, Jack!
not only because you´re a great photographer, but also because I think the site needs people like you, who brings to light some issues that must be discussed.
As for the photo, it´s a great image, also brings a serious (social?) problem, the wrecks of prosperity, here shown with elegance and great taste. Lovely thick white border.

Hola Jack.
Nice to see you back posting picture in TE, I'm very glad.
The old car looks abandoned from World War Two, excellent picture, very well captured.
Warms regards.
