Photographer’s Note
In Sweden, the Allemansrätt (lit. All men's right) has existed for many centuries only as a customary law. But since 1994 it is part of the Swedish constitution. As in other Nordic countries, the Swedish right to roam comes with an equal emphasis being placed upon the responsibility to look after the countryside; the maxim is "Do not disturb, do not destroy".
The Allemansrätt gives a person the right to access, walk, cycle, ride, ski, and camp on any land - with the exception of private gardens, the immediate vicinity of a dwelling house and land under cultivation, and with restrictions for nature reserves and other protected areas. It also gives the right to pick wildflowers, mushrooms and berries provided one knows they are not legally protected, as well as the right to visit beaches, to swim in any lake and put an unpowered boat on any water. Exception if the beach belongs to a private garden. Permission to build a private house is usually not given so close to the beach that this right is obstructed. Private bridges are not free to use for boats or bathing.
We found a lot of wild raspberries this summer a could pick several litres.

Good morning Gunnar!
I heard about this right - at last an expedient one ;-)
You picture is a quite mouthwatering one today. I like the strong contrast between the berries and the green leaves. In combination with your note the whole is an outstanding contribution to TE!
Will you show us also the Moltebeere? ;-)
Greetings from autumnal Germany (8°C this morning)

Hello Gunnar,
looks like both the photo and the note to it are indispensable parts of one whole picture (figuratively speaking) :)
This reminds me of the raspberries which grow in the garden near my country house.. the summer has gone, but photos remain! very nice! I wish I could eat the berries ;)
greetings from Moscow,

Hej Gunnar,
I guess you came close to having this picture moved to Trek Nature. In any case it's an appealing photo with basically just two colours. A pleasant reminder of summer.
Hälsningar,
