Photographer’s Note
A pic from a wonderful swedish town, Karlstad.
The town is surrounded by the river "Klaraelven", which make the town very special.
Taken with a extremely cheap camera, but anyway.

Welcome to TE Jan. Even a cheap camera can take valuable photos. And even the camera doesn’t deliver the best result it possible to adjust the photo with a software tool.
I seams your photo could need some "normal" settings of contrast, colour saturation etc. (Im out of workshops for today - may be tomorrow).
Its nice motive your picked for a starter - keep on posting.

I guess even cheap cameras can come up with good images. This is very nice, and the clarity is marvelous. Nice positioning of horizon in the frame, and the point of view is quite strong. Welcome to TE!

I love it. I can see why the town is special ... the river is just so inviting and your composition even makes it so. Welcome to TrekEarth!
