Photographer's Note

Back to the New Year eve, if you don't mind...!
I should have posted this image earlier :)

These are Christmas decorations in the shop windows of NK department store (Nordiska Kompaniet), a luxury department store in Stockholm.

Like I have already said before when I posted a photo of NK Christmas shop window, such Christmas decorations are unique each year and, most probably, will never be shown again.

If you happen to come to Stockholm in late November -December, up to January 5, it's a must to check out the Christmas windows at the NK department store.

It's an old tradition to go and see the Christmas windows of NK store. A visit to NK's Christmas displays has been a part of Stockholmers' staple holiday traditions ever since 1915.
The photo was taken from the opposite side of the road. Originally shot in RAW, then converted to JPEG. No tripod, only hand-held.

PP work: very minor lens distortion adjustment (perspective) and correcting the slight tilt by rotation (originally the image is slightly tilted to the left); sharpening a little (about 30% at 0,5px radius).
