Photographer's Note

This is my last post before Christmas. I will resume posting after Christmas, though not every day, maybe. Instead I'd like to concentrate on replies and critiquing.

I want to wish to all TE members, regardless of anything, Merry Christmas ! :o)

Let there be peace in our minds and hearts, and there will be peace on Earth.

This is part of the Christmas decorations in the windows of NK department store (Nordiska Kompaniet), a luxury department store in Stockholm.

As I said in my earlier post, this is the Christmas window which, most probably, will never be shown again (unless the NK authorities decide to repeat the Christmas decorations in a while). Every winter, every Christmas, the decorations are different.

If you happen to come to Stockholm in late November -December, up to January 5, it's a must to check out the Christmas windows at the NK department store.

A visit to NK's Christmas displays has been a part of Stockholmers' staple holiday traditions ever since 1915.

About the photo:

I took this photo with a flash because the photo without a flash didn't look good at all :( Maybe it was because of the lighting...

PP work: I had to clone out the flash effect (the bright white spot right in the middle of the image). If you look attentively you can notice the traces of it in the photo.
