Photographer’s Note
This is what is called the University building in Uppsala. This neo-renaissance building was completed in 1887, but the University of Uppsala is much older than that. It was founded in 1477 and is thus more the 500 years old. Today the University is spred all over Uppsala. In the University Park there is a stautue of Erik Gustav Geijer (1783- 1847). Geijer was leading a Swedish poet, composer, philosopher, professor of history and social and political theorist. During four years he was also headmaster of the University of Uppsala.

Hi Ulf,
Good capture of this imponent building. The neoclassic style is very beautiful. Good POV, and nice composition including the statue. Good colors and sharpness.
Well done.
