Photographer’s Note

This is a picture from the center of Uppsala where there a plenty of hamburger restaurants. However, when the local hamburger chain Max established just one block away the McDonalds in this picture - with Burger King across the street and another McDonalds in the very center of the city - shut down.

A wonderful photo which made me smile. I seldom saw such a centre of good taste, of temples for gourmets, of cosy hospitality! ;-))

smart capture :) Excellent lighting. The Photo Info says the photo was taken at 8:20... so it was early morning! I like the light management very much. Concerning the other aspects of the photo, I just like this match of red stripes on the left and on the right. And the composition is very good!
I don't like either McDonalds or Burger King but when there is no chance to choose and I am hungry I have to eat there LOL
Not in Moscow, though :)

It's a terrible shame when local businesses have to close down when the big chains move in. I avoid fast food like the plague so I would be looking for a nice intimate local restaurant. Well exposed blue hour shot with strong colours. The piled up snow makes this a scene different from the norm.

An interesting snapshot of Uppsala. But which people? Where are they gone? They left the city? I see a closed cafe and bicycles in the snow. It seems that the city was just a photographer! :)

Uppsala one of the modern cities in Europe, since a lot years.
Excellent late evening picture, you chose the blue hour with a wonderful result.
