Bridge in Stockholm Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is one of the colourful streets in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden and a city build on more than 14 islands. If I am right, this is one of the brigdes between the island of Gamla Stan (the old city) and Norrmalm, the rest of the center, where you find modern buildings.

About the photo: tiny litte bit cropped on the bottum, a little bit more contrasts (+2) and less light (-2) and sharpened.

Une phot nette, claire et bien colorée d'une ville peut-être moins connue que celles du sud de l'Europe.
Belles architectures 'à l'ancienne'.

Jag borde väl egentligen avstå från att kommentera denna bilden eftersom jag inte med säkerhet kan hjälpa dig med geografin, och därmed borde skämmas. Lars verkar vara ha alla kokosbollarna i lådan dock.
Tjusig bild med väl avvägt ljus och färger - mycket naturligt, och fina reflektioner. Väntar med spänning på fler Sverigebilder.

Merci de nous présenter un quartier de Stockholm, cela nous donne une petite idée de la ville. De plus, la composition est très plaisante à regarder et l'angle de prise de vue est parfait.

This photo is postcard perfect Stef! I really love all the colors on the buildings, reflected so well in the water. The dark brooding sky really sets off the mood of the photo. I like too that you've captured the statue on the other side of the bridge. Well done.

Hi Stef. I agree with Sinquanti about the 'eye-popping visuals.' One of your best in the portfolio. The POV, symmetry, action on the bridge, and wonderful colours and reflections all add up to a real winner. And you achieved all this with a relatively dull sky, though the clouds are not entirely bland. Congratulations.

very good. i like the angle, the risk of taking such a photo, is to take with the bridge head on. i would say this is more unusual, with the angle and incorporating the reflection in the water.

Hi Stef,

I remember this bridge from my visit many years ago and you have done it justice with your wonderful capture. The colours are soft and warm, the pov is perfect and it's sharp. A superb shot, well seen.
