I often visit this city and like wandering on tiny alleyways in the beautiful Stockholm Old Town, "Gamla Stan". Now the day was very rainy and stormy so we enjoyed having a cup of coffee in the cosy cafeteria while watching people passing by, and fingers and toes started to warm up.... :-) Northern summer can be whatever between cold and warm.
The Old Town is Stockholm's original area and there are a lot of unique things to see when visiting the old town in Stockholm. The old town is the original Stockholm. The town was set up during the 1300 century. There are about 3000 people living in the old city today. Most buildings are from the 1700 and 1800 century. If you can spare a few hours take the time to walk about the old town. The dominant building in the old city is the king's castle. The old town is the place to be if you want to experience the town's pulse. The area has Stockholm's biggest ranges of restaurants, tourist shops, studios and museums. There are many wonderful paths to walk in the old town.

First of all, Welcome to TE! - I was doing some browsing and just came across your photographs!
Now, being a person who loves his food, this one really appeals to me! I see milk chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate cakes too and I can imagine that this must be a wonderful place to stop for a cup of coffee and something tempting to eat.
You have captured this scene perfectly and your composition is excellent. Considering that this picture was probably taken in a hurry, you have the whole of the "Coffee Bar" text completely in the frame, you have the little family group perfectly placed and the diagonal line of the roadway adds well to the composition. Even the bicycle is placed perfectly too, balancing the little family group.
You have also coped well with the lighting here, your colours and exposure are perfect and the details and sharpness are exquisite, even when the picture is viewed at its full size of over 2,400 pixels wide!

Like you, I am a new member in TE. Welcome!
I really like this photo: the composition is perfect - the sweets, the signage, the passers-by and the street scene. You create the mood of the moment very, very well. Congratulations.

Good morning Kaisa,
You taken this scene from behind the glass-window from withinm the patisserie, that display its cookies up-front, that lopoks delicious - yet, I also like to watch the passing by strollers and collect their glancing viewes.
Well done photojob, no glass reflection, and wonderfully collected the sight of the family go by.
Letters on the glass are in superb sharpness.
Cheers for this beauty of Gmla-stan.
